Reading Royals Synchronised Swimming Club is one of the most successful sports clubs in Reading.  Established in 1969 and re-named to incorporate “Royals” in the title before the town’s football team adopted it, the Club has has great success both nationally and Internationally.


 We are proud to be able to say that two of our swimmers, Katie Clark and Katie Skelton were part of the 9 strong team who competed at the London 2012 Olympics.

The club also has two swimmers, Emma Critchley and Esme Lower in the current GB squad. Emma is reserve for the GB duet who will belooking to qualify for Rio 2016


Our HistoryHow Synchro Began?



Reading Royals is one of four synchronised swimming clubs  (Bristol, Leeds and Rushmoor – the others) to be selected to deliver the ASA’s Beacon Programme. We have a good number of younger swimmers currentlyselected for EnglandTalent Squads and training beyond club level in the Beacon Squad. Click the image below for squad details
